3.5 MW Solar Installation Set To Come Online In MA

Soltas Energy has begun construction on a 3.5 MW ground-mounted solar power project in north-central Massachusetts. The company says this will be the fifth largest system in the state.

The project, which will cover 17 acres, will use more than 12,000 solar modules. Solectria Renewables is supplying the PV inverters, and Gamechange Racking will provide racking components.

“We are proud to be able to provide clean renewable power at a lower cost to local government and business customers, partner with local workers, and help the communities with increased tax revenues,” says Andrew Worden, CEO of Soltas Energy.
