SOLECTRIA RENEWABLES’ PREMIUM 15kW PV INVERTER
ENTERS FULL PRODUCTION
 Lawrence, MA. (May 9, 2007) Solectria Renewables introduces a new 15kW
AC output, 208, 240 and 480VAC 3-phase comercial 3-phase inverter setting a new
standard in the grid-tied PV industry.
With premium components and advanced
design it has a peak efficiency of 95.8% and a CEC efficiency of 94.5% (480VAC)
topping efficiencies of all 3-phase inverters in the sub-50kW commercial
inverter market by 1-3%.
The
highly integrated inverter is ideal for 15-50kW commercial PV systems. With a compliment of standard features
assembled and tested as a system at the factory, installation of the inverter (and
Balance of System portion of the grid-tied PV system) is vastly simplified,
thus reducing installed system cost. The
premium efficiency and reliability of the unit maximizes energy production and
system payback.
The inverter has already been chosen for use in
PV systems across the United
States by several leading PV system design
and installation companies such as Solar Design Associates, Spire Corporation,
Solar Works, Inc., Sunlight Solar Energy and Nexgen Energy Solutions.

Other
advanced features and options include: True zero Watts night time
energy consumption, heavy
duty visible-blade DC disconnect, fused AC disconnect, smart oscillating
high efficiency fan control, RS-232 communication interface, PC
data logging software. Optional features include fused DC combiner,
positively grounded version, Fat Spaniel web-based monitoring and
RS-485 communication interface for multi-inverter sites.
The inverter meets the latest version of UL1741 / IEEE1547.
